Terms of Service
Welcome to Rose Lazarus Naturopath. By booking an appointment, accessing this website, or engaging our services, you agree to the following Terms & Conditions.
1. About Us
Rose Lazarus Naturopath provides Naturopathic consultations, health education and related wellness services in accordance with applicable Australian laws and professional standards.
2. Nature of Naturopathic Services
Naturopathy is a complementary health modality that may include discussion of diet, lifestyle, functional testing, supplementation, and health education. Services are educational and supportive in nature and are not a substitute for emergency medical care or ongoing care provided by a medical doctor.
We do not guarantee specific health outcomes. Individual results vary depending on many factors including compliance, medical history, lifestyle, and individual physiology.
You agree to provide accurate and complete information regarding your health and to inform us of any changes to your condition. You acknowledge that you are responsible for your health decisions and for seeking appropriate medical care where necessary. If you are experiencing a medical emergency, you should call 000 immediately.
3. Appointments and Deposits
A 50% deposit is required to secure your appointment. Your appointment time is reserved exclusively for you and significant preparation time occurs prior to your consultation. The remaining balance is due at the time of your appointment unless otherwise arranged.
4. Cancellation & Rescheduling Policy
We require a minimum of 24 hours' notice to cancel or reschedule an appointment.
- Cancellations with more than 24 hours' notice: any deposit paid can be transferred to a new booking.
- Cancellations with less than 24 hours' notice: a cancellation fee equivalent to 50% of the consultation fee will apply. This amount may be retained from your deposit or invoiced to you if no deposit has been paid.
- Failure to attend (no-show): a fee equivalent to 50% of the consultation fee will apply. This amount may be retained from your deposit or invoiced to you if no deposit has been paid.
5. Fees and Payments
All fees are listed in Australian Dollars (AUD) and may be updated at any time. Payment must be made in full at the time of consultation unless otherwise agreed.
Online payments are processed securely through Stripe. We do not store full credit card details on our systems. By providing payment details, you authorise us to process payments for services provided.
If a payment is declined, reversed, or disputed without valid reason, we reserve the right to recover any outstanding amounts.
6. Refunds
Due to the time, preparation and professional expertise involved in consultations, consultation fees are generally non-refundable once the service has been provided.
Deposits are refundable only in accordance with the Cancellation & Rescheduling Policy above.
Refunds will not be provided for change of mind after a consultation has taken place.
Where functional testing kits or practitioner-only supplements are ordered, refunds are not available once an order has been placed with the supplier or once goods have been opened, unless required under Australian Consumer Law.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits your rights under Australian Consumer Law. Where a service is not provided with due care and skill or fails to meet consumer guarantees, you may be entitled to a remedy in accordance with the law.
7. Telehealth Services
Where consultations are conducted via telehealth, you are responsible for ensuring a stable internet connection and private environment. We are not responsible for disruptions caused by third-party technology providers.
8. Testing and Third-Party Providers
Where functional pathology testing or practitioner-only products are recommended, you acknowledge that these services are provided by independent third parties. We are not responsible for delays, errors, shipping issues or laboratory processing times outside of our control.
All recommendations are made based on professional assessment and are not guarantees of outcome.
